Our main goal for this concert is to raise funds to support a nursery school with a self sustaining nutrition center and garden in The Kerewan Village, Gambia, West Africa. Many of the children in this village have stunted growth due to lack of proper nutrition. The 2012 “Education for All” policy report results indicated that Kerewan had a reading/literacy rate lower than any other part of the country. ~
