Ladies and gentlemen, welcome, welcome, to 75 Bands in 75 Days, where we’re showcasing some of the best talent that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, at least one band per day, leading up to December 31st, to ring in a new year. This list is in no particular order and it is not a chart or a countdown. It’s merely a list of bands or musicians that we feel are worthy of checking out. The band for day 73 is a Seattle band called Stiff Spirit.
If you happened to have followed our 2014 Reader’s Poll then you’d know that this band came in First Place. They kicked ass on getting the word out there and the timing was perfect as they were riding the wave of the album release. If you are looking for larger than life over-produced “Arena Rock” or some other kind of fancy shit, this isn’t for you. But if you are looking for gritty, grimy & raw punk infused rock and roll you might have struck gold. Check them out when you get time.
