Ladies and gentlemen, welcome, welcome, to 75 Bands in 75 Days, where we bring you the best talent that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, one day and one band at a time. Today we’re going total doom with our next band, Portland’s Disenchanter.

Disenchanter is a heavy rock band from Portland, Oregon that’s been active since 2011. Their brand of rock and metal music is psychedelic, brooding and slow, and has a clear doom metal influence. Much like Sunn O)))‘s early material, Disenchanter‘s music feels like total Earth worship.

To date, Disenchanter has had two releases to their name, a debut EP by the name of Back to Earth, and a debut full-length that was released in January of this year. Both album are worth looking into if you’re into slow, droning heavy rock.
