50 Bands in 50 Days – Day 33: Nolan Garrett

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 33rd day of 50 Bands in 50 Days, our annual showcase of some of the best bands coming out of the Pacific Northwest region, one day at a time. Today’s artist Nolan Garrett has made quite a name for himself already and he just turned 18 a few days ago!

Nolan Garrett’s music is a mix of throbbing rock and roll energy combined with pop sensibilities, raw blues, classic rock, tight funk and grunge abandon.  His live shows are famous for their high energy and his tremendous ability to engage a crowd and leave them breathless.

While most kids his age are still trying to figure out what they want to be, the 18 year old Nolan Garrett knows what he wants to do and he’s destined for bigger and better things as his career progresses. Even at his young age he’s opened for Chris Isaak, Johnny Lang and is a fixture at Tacoma’s annual street fair, Art on the Ave.
