Music fans of the Pacific Northwest, get ready for our fifth annual year-end daily local music showcase, 100 Bands in 100 Days, where every day until December 31st, we’re showcasing a new band or artist you have to know about, once again presented by Verity Credit Union.

Make sure you are checking the #100Bands100Days hashtag on Twitter on a daily basis to stay on top of all the bands featured and be sure to follow Verity and NW_Music_Scene there. Some days the featured act could be an established and locally-adored northwest-based musician and other times they could be a band with a small following that just hasn’t had their deserved time in the spotlight yet. Either way, we’re fairly confident you can come away from this daily segment with plenty of new favorites. Today’s featured band is Fuzz Droner.

Bio:

Fuzz Droner is a throwback to the 70s and a counter balance to the world of electronic music. Their shows are known as “High n’ Live” – bass, drums and guitar pumping out thick honesty, under a haze of fuzz and a cloud of smoke. The members include Sean Dailey (bass and vocals), Eric Wunderlich (guitar), and Mark Jensen (drums). After multiple decades and several different bands within the Seattle area, the trio have come back together to create Fuzz Droner. Having influences of Cream, Fu Manchu, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Black Sabbath, Turbonegro, Queens of the Stone Age, Motorhead, and Soundgarden, their music brings back the garage era of loud Rock & Roll with a slight twist of pop.

If you are in the market for a rocking northwest band that will get the blood pumping with high octane riffs that hearken back to what some call the good ole days of rock, today’s band should be right up your alley. Check out their music below and also check them out live at Slim’s Last Chance Saloon on November 30, where they will be taking the stage with Comedy Of Terror and Elizabeth Better.
