Music fans of the Pacific Northwest, get ready for our fifth annual year-end daily local music showcase, 100 Bands in 100 Days, where every day until December 31st, we’re showcasing a new band or artist you have to know about, once again presented by Verity Credit Union.

Make sure you are checking the #100Bands100Days hashtag on Twitter on a daily basis to stay on top of all the bands featured and be sure to follow Verity and NW_Music_Scene there. Some days the featured act could be an established and locally-adored northwest-based musician and other times they could be a band with a small following that just hasn’t had their deserved time in the spotlight yet. Either way, we’re fairly confident you can come away from this daily segment with plenty of new favorites. Today’s featured band is Jericho Hill from Everett.

Bio:

Jericho Hill is a shredding rock n’ roll medley of Whiskey and wonder. An enigmatic ball of sexy fury designed to keep your heart pounding, booty shaking, and your horns held high. By mixing crunchy and curiously melodic guitar licks with a stank-faced groove, and topping it off with an aggressive vocal glaze, Jericho Hill has branded an energetic style of tasty hard rock that might just melt the eyeballs out of your face.

Today’s featured band drops the throttle and dishes out riff after face-melting riff on their debut full length The Suicide Jack. Fans of hard-rocking Seattle mainstays Windowpane will feel right at home with this band. Equal amounts of blazing guitars, thundering drums, thumping bass and dynamic vocals help to catapult these guys onto the elite list of current northwest rockers keeping the flame lit. While the greater Seattle area has no shortage of killer rock bands, Jericho Hill should be on every northwest rock fan’s radar.

Take a listen to The Suicide Jack HERE and buckle up because this album is an intense, northwest rock & roll thrill ride!
